Why Whitewater?

I am very excited to be continuing my teaching career at Whitewater Middle School! I am a Whitewater High School graduate which is one reason I am looking forward to working in the community of Whitewater. The staff and students here at WMS make this school an excellent place to teach!

A little about myself:

I graduated in 2012 from UW-Whitewater with a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and Geography/Geology with an emphasis in science. Science is my favorite subject to teach and to learn about! Before teaching in Whitewater, I taught 4th grade in Mile Gully, Jamaica. Teaching in Jamaica has left a lasting impression on me and the way that I teach today. Outside of teaching I spend a lot of time with my husband and daughters. I travel any chance that I can. I enjoy reading, camping, and the occasional skydive! I am very excited for this year and to see how our students grow and learn new things. I  welcome any e-mail or phone call and will try to respond as quickly as possible. Together we can make sure everyone has a successful year.
