I love Whitewater! Whitewater has been (and is) a great community in which to live, work, and raise a family. When I married my husband, David, 40 years ago and moved to Whitewater I had no idea how much I would grow to love this place. Whitewater provided the ultimate learning community in which to raise our four daughters, all of whom went through the Whitewater Schools, attended UW-Whitewater through the high school, and then continued their education at UW-Madison and beyond.
This is my 25th year of working with students at Whitewater Middle School. In my paraprofessional role, I am an advocate for advanced learners/gifted and talented students. I also work to identify and offer opportunities that will challenge capable students and keep them engaged and interested in school. Additionally, I help with before-school supervision and monitor bus loading at the end of the day. Outside of school, in my spare time, I enjoy knitting, sewing, weaving, reading, gardening, camping, hiking, and kayaking with family and our chocolate lab, "Abe". I love art, the "classics", puzzles, and challenges.
Thanks for visiting this website. I look forward to meeting you!
