Mrs. Fero and her children.
Welcome to seventh grade! I have been teaching for 27 years and this is my 22nd year here at WUSD. The excitement of a new year never gets old.
As a WHS graduate, I know that this district has a lot to offer our students. This is a community that truly values education and continues to support it financially. The university offers many opportunities for our staff and students as well. I feel privileged to teach here.
I have a Bachelor of Science Education (BSE) and a Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis in technology. Learning is life long, and I am always taking classes to stay up to date on current practices. I am very fortunate to teach both language arts and social studies as the two courses are so easily integrated. I am also a co-advisor of student council.
When I am not teaching, I have 3 children that keep me very busy. My daughter Madalyn is a junior at UW-Oshkosh, my son Alex is a senior at WHS, and my son Daniel will be in 8th grade. Much of our family time is spent cheering on one of the kids at their sporting events. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my friends and family, camping, crafting, traveling, and most of all- reading.
You can find me in my classrooms, room 2. The best time to reach me is during my 12:30 prep time or by e-mail anytime.
I hope everyone is well rested and ready to learn. I look forward to a great school year!
