I just graduated from the University of Wisconsin - La Crosse in May 2016 with a degree in Spanish Education and English as a Second Language. During my time at UW-L I studied abroad for a semester in Salamanca, Spain where I fell even more in love with the Spanish language and culture! There are so many more places out there that I want to explore including Peru, Chile, Mexico, Argentina... and the list goes on!
When I'm not in school you will be able to find me doing one or more of my favorite activities; cuddling with my dog, going on new adventures, drinking coffee, or grocery shopping
After graduating from UW-L and having spent the last 5 years in the beautiful city of La Crosse, I was itching for a change. I wanted to move closer to my family in Madison and start a new chapter in my life doing what I loved most; teaching! I discovered an open position at Whitewater Middle School for teaching Spanish and I immediately applied. The district and staff here in Whitewater have continually amazed me with their dedication to students, passion for high quality education, and support for world languages. Needless to say, I am so excited to begin my journey in the Whitewater Unified School District! I look forward to meeting everyone in September!
