Mrs. McIntyre, MS, LPC, NCC
I am so excited to be starting my first year as the school counselor here at the Whitewater Middle School! As a graduate of the UW-Whitewater counseling program, I am thrilled to be back in this district doing what I love to do most- working with children. I have always enjoyed spending time in this community and believe that this is an excellent district to be a part of.
As school counselor, it is my mission to provide a comprehensive, developmental guidance curriculum, addressing the individual academic, career, emotional, and personal/social development of all students. I will work to identify and remediate barriers to learning, thereby creating success for all students.
I am a member of ACA (the American Counseling Association) as well as WSCA (the Wisconsin School Counseling Association). I take an active role in attending continuing education classes to stay informed on the latest issues in the field of counseling. I am also the author of "How Frederick Found His Light", a book to help children better understand their own depression or that of a family member.
Please know that if you have any concerns throughout the year that I am available to talk with you. You may reach me at 262-472-8306 or .
I am looking forward to a great year at WMS!
