My family at Devil's Lake State Park.
Welcome to seventh grade! This is my 22st year here at WUSD and the excitement of a new year never gets old. As a WHS graduate, I feel that this district has a lot to offer our students. I feel privileged to teach here.
I have a Bachelor of Science Education (BSE) and a Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis in technology. Learning is life long, and I am always taking classes to stay up to date on current practices. I am very fortunate to teach both language arts and social studies as the two courses are so easily integrated.
When I am not teaching, I have 3 children that keep me very busy. My daughter Madalyn is a sophomore at UW-Oshkosh, my son Alex is a junior, and my son Daniel will be in 7th grade. Much of our family time is spent cheering on one of the kids at their sporting events. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my friends and family, camping, crafting, traveling, and most of all- reading.
You can find me in either of my classrooms, room 2 or 21. The best time to reach me is during my 12:30 prep time or by e-mail anytime.
I hope everyone is well rested and ready to learn. I look forward to a great school year!
